Civic Scholarship meets Civic Practice: Dr. Robin Bachin, University of Miami and Jim Murley, Miami-Dade County, Chief Resilience Officer

Dr. Bachin, author of “Engaging Place, Engaging Practices: Urban History and Campus-Community Partnerships”  will present on the University Miami’s Office of Civic and Community Engagement (CCE) fosters campus-community collaboration by engaging the university’s academic resources in the enrichment of civic and community life. This year, CCE is celebrating its 10th anniversary and the webinar will feature topics of climate change and affordable housing and how civic scholarship is linked to improving public practice.
